2025–26 Key Dates (as per latest MVPP circular):

  • Registration (schools): 11 Sep – 04 Oct 2025
  • Centre allotment by: 11 Nov 2025 (tentative)
  • Admit cards to students by: 15 Nov 2025 (tentative)
  • Exam date: Sun, 16 Nov 2025tentative (see circular)

Note: The Annual School Calendar 2025–26 initially indicated the MVPP exam on the 2nd Sunday of January 2026. Follow the latest MVPP circular uploaded on Edudel for the final schedule.

🎯 Eligibility (2025–26)

  • Class: Presently studying in Class IX in a recognized school of Delhi (DoE/KV/NVS/NDMC/DCB/Unaided etc.).
  • Marks in Class VIII (2024–25): ≥60% for General/OBC; ≥55% for SC/ST/PH.
  • Reservation: SC 15%, ST 7.5%, OBC(NCL) 27%, EWS 10%; within-category 4% for benchmark disabilities (as per circular).

📝 Exam Pattern & Qualifying Criteria

  • No negative marking.
  • Qualifying (per paper): SC/ST/PH – 32%; Gen/OBC(EWS) – 40%. Selection is merit‑wise within category & quota.

💳 Scholarship

A one‑time ₹5,000 scholarship + merit certificate is awarded to the first 1000 qualifiers (category‑wise), as notified.

How to Apply (via School)

  1. Schools log in at edudel.nic.inSchool Plant → Scholarship → Application form and register eligible students 11 Sep – 04 Oct 2025.
  2. Science Branch generates roll numbers & centres by 11 Nov 2025 (tentative).
  3. Heads of Schools print & attest admit cards; issue to students by 15 Nov 2025 (tentative).

📚 Syllabus & Preparation

  • MAT: analogies, series, classification, coding‑decoding, embedded figures, data/clock/calendar reasoning, etc.
  • SAT: core Class 9 general science & mathematics (application‑oriented); social/general awareness may be tested per official instructions.
  • Prep plan: practice 100‑Q MAT sets (100 min) + 100‑Q SAT sets (100 min); aim ≥90% per paper to cross qualifying cut‑offs comfortably.
