📅 AGC 2025 — Key Dates (IST)

  • School Registration (Stage‑1): 19–30 Sep 2025 (till 5:30 PM)
  • Question Paper & Key download: 7–10 Oct 2025 (portal)
  • School‑level Test: during school hours within the above window (many schools conduct on 10 Oct 2025)
  • Submit Top‑3 + Fee (₹900/school) for Stage‑2: 15–22 Oct 2025
  • Stage‑2 (CBSE CBT): 29 Oct 2025

🎯 Eligibility

  • Stage‑1: All students of Classes VIII, IX, X in CBSE‑affiliated schools.
  • Stage‑2: Top three students shortlisted by each registered school based on Stage‑1 scores.

  • Merit Certificates: Top 100 students from every CBSE region after Stage‑2.
  • Appreciation to Schools: Top 10 schools of each region with maximum Stage‑1 participation receive Appreciation Certificates.

💳 Fees

  • Stage‑1 (School‑level): No fee to appear.
  • Stage‑2 (per school):900 to be paid online when submitting top‑3 names.

How Stage‑1 Works (School Checklist)

  1. Register your school on the CBSE portal (19–30 Sep).
  2. Download the official paper & key between 7–10 Oct.
  3. Conduct a 1‑hour MCQ test for Classes 8–10 during school hours; shortlist the top three.
  4. Submit the three names and pay ₹900 (15–22 Oct) to generate Stage‑2 credentials.
