🎯 Eligibility (Class 11–12 focus)
- Class: Studying in Class 8–12 in 2025–26 (this page focuses on Class 11–12).
- Date of Birth: Born on/after 1 Aug 2006 and on/before 31 Jul 2013.
- Citizenship: Indian citizens; OCI provisionally eligible for IOQM (check HBCSE for higher stage rules).
📝 IOQM Pattern (100 marks)
- Duration: 3 hours (10:00–13:00)
- Questions: 30 — 10 × (2 marks) + 10 × (3 marks) + 10 × (5 marks)
- Answer type: Integer in 00–99 (fill OMR)
- Mode: Offline, OMR, no negative marking
⛳ Qualifying to RMO (Class 11–12 rules)
- 10% rule: Must score at least 10% of total marks in IOQM to be eligible for RMO (not sufficient by itself).
- Categories: Category A = Classes 8–11; Category B = Class 12.
- From each region: Top 200 (Cat‑A) + ties; Top 40 (Cat‑B) + ties qualify for RMO. Girls’ quota: extra 5 (Cat‑A) per region; none in Cat‑B.

🧭 Registration — How to Apply
- Create/confirm your centre (school/coaching) or register individually on the IOQM portal during the window.
- Fill details, choose region (as per school postal address; KV/JNV have separate codes), and pay fees.
- Download admit card and verify centre, date & session (check if your region is on 7 Sept or 28 Sept).
📚 For Class 11–12: What to Study
- Core topics: number theory (CRT, orders), algebra (polynomials, inequalities), combinatorics (Pigeonhole, invariants), geometry (Euclidean, homothety), functional equations.
- Practice: 5‑year IOQM/RMO/INMO question sets; timed 3‑hour OMR mocks (integer answers).
- Benchmark: Aim ≥60/100 for a competitive buffer; focus accuracy on 3‑ and 5‑mark sets.
