INSPIRE–MANAK 2025–26 — Classes 11–12

What’s new (2025–26): Classes 11 & 12 are now eligible under INSPIRE–MANAK. Schools can nominate up to 5 ideas in total, with max 2 from Class XI/XII (Science stream). Selected students receive ₹10,000 (DBT) for prototype development and progress through DLEPC → SLEPC → NLEPC.

🎯 Eligibility — Class 11–12

  • Classes: 6–12 (newly expanded). This page focuses on XI–XII.
  • Per‑school limit: Within 5 total nominations, only 2 can be from Class XI/XII and must be from the Science stream.
  • Originality: Idea must be student’s own, implementable and socially useful.

  • ₹10,000 (DBT) to each selected student for prototype development.
  • Mentoring support before SLEPC/NLEPC; display at NLEPC; top 60 innovations considered for further product/process support and linkage with DST/NIF programmes.

🧭 How to Apply (Schools nominate)

  1. Register/Login the school on the E‑MIAS portal (School Authority).
  2. Conduct an internal idea competition and select up to 5 best ideas (max 2 from XI–XII, Science).
  3. Upload nominations with title, synopsis, and student details. (Use the School User Manual from Downloads.)
  4. Track status (shortlisting, DBT credit) and participate in DLEPC → SLEPC → NLEPC as scheduled.

  • Low‑cost IoT solutions for agriculture or environment (sensors, analytics, alerts).
  • Assistive tech (mobility, vision, hearing) with ergonomic prototypes.
  • Green chemistry or clean energy micro‑prototypes (bio‑enzymes, solar micro‑trackers).
  • Waste‑to‑value devices (composters, plastic sorting aids, material reuse).
